Frazier Reams Public Affairs Undergraduate Fellowship Program

The Frazier Reams Public Affairs Undergraduate Fellowship Program was established in 1973 in memory of Frazier Reams Sr. and in recognition of his distinguished service to the broadcasting industry, as a member of the U.S. Congress and as a trustee of Bowling Green State University.
Rising BGSU seniors who intend to pursue careers in public affairs in the public sector (i.e. speech communication, broadcasting, journalism, political/government service public health, community service, law) or education are eligible to compete for the fellowships. (A rising senior is a student who will attend BGSU for two semesters for his/her senior year). A minimum accumulative GPA of 3.2 is required. The selection of Fellows will be based on an initial screening process, then further review that will include a personal interview conducted by the committee. A variable number of awards will be presented each year and recipients will receive a minimum of $5,000 for the fellowship.
Completed application packet includes application, transcript(s), goals statement, letters of recommendation and supporting materials, must be submitted to College of Arts & Sciences, 205 Administration Bldg., no later than 5:00 p.m., March 1, 2012.
