Akron Children’s Hospital is seeking a dynamic, hard-working and self-motivated public relations intern who is a junior or senior college student majoring in public relations, journalism, communications or a related field. Strong written and oral communication skills required. Should have completed basic journalism or PR writing courses and have writing samples available. Primary responsibilities include writing news releases and newsletter copy; coordinating photo shoots; and providing general support to the PR staff. Interns earn $8 an hour, plus gain valuable experience. Must be able to work 40 hours per week or at least 20 hours per week during the school year.
