About Melanie Mills

My name is Melanie Mills and I am 20 years old. I am a sophomore majoring in journalism with a specialization in public relations. Additionally, I am minoring in marketing and art. One unique thing about me is I am a Canadian citizen; however, my friends say I am completely Americanized, except for the occasional "eh?" and a few other "Canadian" sounding words. I have three jobs outside of class including my resident advisor position in Kreischer, working the Kreischer front desk, and working for Arts Village Learning Community as an administrative assistant. I live a busy, fast paced life equipped with an adventurous spirit. I have many animals (however, the furry ones are not allowed in the residence hall so they live with my parents). I have a dog named Rumor, a cat named Mia, and two Betta fish (separate tanks), Chuck Norris and Tink. Some of the goals for my life include being an eternal learner, always finding joy in creating whether it be with new ideas or works of art, and having an impact on everyone I meet. A few of my favorite quotes: "Life's a garden, dig it!" ~Joe Dirt "Since you cannot do good to all, you are to pay special attention to those who, by accidents of time, or place, or circumstance, are brought into closer connection with you." ~St. Augustine
