I am currently a Junior at Bowling Green State University, majoring in sport management and minoring in journalism. I am from Delta, Ohio and attended Pike-Delta-York Senior High.
I have chosen this field of study because I have a passion for sports and enjoy writing. My hope is to be a beat writer for The New York Times covering one of my favorite sports teams, and travel around and experience the world of sports in a way not many people get to. I figured this would be a perfect profession for me to go into given my interests and the excitement this type of job provides.
From this class I hope to learn the ways of journalistic writing and hone my writing skills in order to prepare myself for my future. I am hoping to learn a lot from this class that I will carry with me throughout my professional career.
