On Friday, March 27, 2015, the Center for Russian and East European Studies (REES) and International Business Center (IBC) at the University of Pittsburgh be sponsoring the annual “Europe: East and West” Undergraduate Research Symposium. The event will give students the opportunity to present research papers on Western and Eastern Europe, including Russia and other countries of the former Soviet Union, to discussants and an audience.

All BGSU undergraduate students are encouraged to apply to participate in the symposium. Limited travel grants will be available to help defray travel expenses to Pittsburgh for accepted participants. The application form and further information can be found at http://www.ucis.pitt.edu/ursymposium/.

Deadlines:

1) Students must submit applications with 250-300 word abstracts and paper drafts by January 20, 2015

2) Selected students will be notified by February 2015

3) Final revised papers are due by March 16, 2015

4) Presentations will be made at the Symposium on March 27, 2015
