Toledo Zoo Billboard

I chose to design billboards for the Toledo Zoo.  I think this could be a fun topic to research, as well as to create artwork for.  The audience I will be targeting is kids as well as adults.  They both need to be interested in the zoo in order to make a visit.  The kids have to beg the parents  to take them, and the parents have to find it interesting for themselves in order to want to bring their kids.  The following images are ones that I have found interesting when I looked up various billboard ideas.

I am very interested in including extensions in my billboards.  I think it helps grab the attention of its passerby’s, and can be really cool.  Here are some more zoo extensions I have found:

In addition to these, I found a few billboards that go together and use repetition to get attention.

Here are billboards that I just found interesting that I could possibly use as inspiration, whether they have anything to do with the zoo or not:

I really like the idea of this last image of the guy eating the billboard.  I was thinking about using an animal that is new to the zoo right now or in the future, and using it to eat it’s food, but have it coming off the billboard corner like this photo.   Here are some sketches of my ideas:
