E! News Anchor Guliana Rancic Breast Cancer Announcement

Filed under: Uncategorized — Meghan Coburn at 1:23 pm on Tuesday, October 18, 2011

E! News anchor Guliana Ranic announced Monday that she has been diagnosed with the early stages of breast cancer, according to the Huffington Post.

Guliana and her husband Bill Rancic, 40, have been trying to have a child through in vitro for several years.  Back in 2010 she realized that she has a miscarriage.  Guliana said, “I was devastated, I was angry with life and god.  I told myself I would never do this again.”  However, just recently Guliana and Bill tried for the third time to conceive a child.  It is because of this, she found out she had breast cancer.  The doctor came in the room and said quickly “You have breast cancer.”  Guliana says, “My reaction was everything it could be and more.”  She fought to get the mammogram but eventually did.  She is scheduled for surgery later this week and is hoping for the best.

Good topic, good attribution in post, nice pic. However, we need attribution throughout the post. Otherwise it appears you reported this information yourself. Also, in news stories, always refer to people by last names unless it is a small child.

Grammar: no comma here: It is because of this, she found out she had breast cancer.

    God should be capitalized.

They are both so beautiful! Too bad these things happened to them. I keep my fingers crossed for Guliana and beleive she will be fine and everything will get better in time. Just don’t lose hope!

This is very sad news, I wish her a lot of strength, will and good friends – with these three things she will beat the cancer!
