Friends and family, thanks for visiting my blog! Here is a quick lesson on how to use my site…
Underneath my cup of coffee and phone there are pages you can visit. These most likely will not change often, but a new page may be added sometime.
My Home page, what you first see when you visit my blog, lists all the most recent posts I have done in order (from most recent to a few days ago). They won’t stay on the Home page because there intent is to direct you to the category in which you can find that post and more like it. It is almost like they say, “Hey! This is what Emily has been working on”.
On the right side of the screen, scroll down to see a calendar, pages (which I just mentioned), categories and archives. These are all ways of organizing my information that I post. Just choose which one is most helpful to you. The calendar works by days. The red days (that let you click on them) are days that I have published something. The categories, which I find most helpful, have been organized by what content is in each category. To be clear, all categories have been made to house my assignments for the course Tourism, Leisure and Event Planning 4830 Recreation Areas and Facilities. Because of this course I have created the blog. Extra categories such as Just For Fun or 1/2 Marathon are simply just for fun. Finally, the archives are monthly so as the blog gets older, there will be more months to choose by in order to find my posts or your comments.
If all else fails and you’re lost on the site, click “Home” underneath my coffee, and it will take you to my home page.
Enjoy blogging and let me know what you think of my page!
