Positive Examples
- Ramp to Hayes Hall west entrance
- Elevators in Student Union
- Restrooms located on all first floors
- Clear signage around campus
- No steps on walkways to and from buidlings
- Wheelchair ramp on Library entrance
- Handicap parking
- Braille on newer building room signs
- University provides communication help in classes using computers and sign language
- Wave-use technology in restrooms in case someone can’t hold down facet buttons or pump paper towel dispensers
Negative Examples
- No handicap ramps to buildings like the Education Building
- Small dinning areas to maneuver wheelchairs or walkers
- Too steep of ramp into Epplers west entrance
- Constant construction creates delays in travel
- Inconsistency of technology such as elevators
- No extra desks without attached chairs
- Transportation around buildings like Eppler take twice as long because there is only one elevator with many floor levels
- Buildings like Eppler can be confusing to navigate, especially to mentally disabled
- No Braille markings on some buildings and their rooms
- Foyers have multiple doors to enter
