For this unit we were required to do two projects which included a visual narrative and also a personal literacy narrative. The visual narrative project involved creating a visual representation of my various literacy’s. To meet this requirement I created a collage of pictures that represented important literacy’s in my life now, as well as when I was younger. You can find a picture of my visual narrative below.

 

The Personal Literacy Narrative  was an essay that narrated a specific literacy event in my life. The event I chose to write about was my experience learning to read with the Hooked-On Phonics program. This was my favorite unit because of the personal aspect of both of the projects. My personal literacy narrative was one of the projects that I chose to revise, and I feel that my revision made my paper a lot stronger. I also wrote a revision reflection about this whole process.
