How do young people view sex and relationships nowadays. There are so many factors that affect the young mind and it will be interesting to get a student view on this topic. I interviewed over 6 people but one really stuck out to me. Senior Rick Sanders gets into detail about how he feels about sex and relationships. From media influence to how important sex is to him personally. I chose him because he is the run of the mill guy. He is your average BG college student.I feel like his thoughts would be a good representative of the men on campus. He works for BGSU dining and plays on an intramural basketball team.
I think it’s interesting how he originally said that sex in the relationship was between a 9-10 importance (on a scale from 1-10) but later said he would date someone who was saving themselves for marriage. To me this seems a little contradictory?
I agree with the previous post, he seems to talk out of two different sides of his mouth. At one point he rates sex as an 8, then laughs it off and says actually its 9-10 important in his life. He said “sex shouldn’t be the ending to all relationships”…but if its a 10 out of 1-10 scale that sounds like it matters the most…
I agree too I didnt even pick up on how many contradictory statements were said. It sounded sweet but when you dissect it there are some problems. Maybe he was trying to say he loves sex and it important if you have the right person?
dating nowadays is so much different and sometimes people expect to have sex on the first date. Dating someone that saves herself for marriage it is difficult to find any of those people..
“He is your average BG college student.” this shows that women prefers men with good alpha male characteristics that what men men things are important like fine cars and money. learning more about how to improve in this personalities will assist any guy to be the desires of women even the hot difficult ones.
