Don’t worry bob. Ames really isn’t a very exciting town to live in. Something will turn your way.
I hope so, but things are getting so close to April 15 for news to be good. Yesterday I considered earning a second MA in English for Cultural Studies at another institution with hopes of continuing into their PhD program, but that is another two years I did not expect.
Don’t worry so much about the date — it might actually be a good sign. I only got in to one MFA program, and it was the last one I heard from…right around April 15.
Maybe this is an indication that you haven’t been ruled out yet — maybe it means you’ve made it to the final round of consideration at Purdue and Bowling Green.
There are going to opportunities for you to use your talents, somewhere. I know that. You should, too.
