Comments(0) Cage was devastated that he would never get another chance to try for the role and resents the unwritten rule that only a British actor can play Bond. He said: “You can cast a Brit to play Bond but you can never cast an American to play him. I think that is totally unfair.”
[What unwritten rule? Sean Connery is Scottish and George Lazenby is Austrailian and both have been Bond. Cage is currently filming Ghost Rider for Marvel anyway. BK]
