Comments(3) With pleasure, we invite you to participate in the 60th annual Convention of the Conference on College Composition and Communication, which will be held in San Francisco, March 11-14, 2009. We are following the CCCC policy of allowing only one speaking role in the peer-reviewed concurrent sessions in order to maximize the participation of the CCCC membership.
[I submitted a proposal about how playing video games such as Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin on the Nintendo DS will result in better composition students if we incorporate game elements into our lessons about writing. BK]

Congrats, Bobby! I need to start proposing stuff…tenure review is in 6 years, which seems too close for comfort. Yikes.
Thanks, Signe! Elizabeth said that NCTE is another good conference for rhetoric and composition people because it always looks for more presenters in its college area. I passed on that one this year because I bet on the biennial Watson conference and I need to be back with National PCA to return their Korvie award in the Comics area.
