Huron, Ohio – Bowling Green State University Firelands College will host a College Credit Plus meeting for students entering 7th through 12th grades in the 2015-2016 school year.  The meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 18 at 7 p.m. in the Cedar Point Center Auditorium on the BGSU Firelands campus.

The College Credit Plus legislation was passed in June of 2014 and enables students to take college courses for free and earn high school and college credits while advancing themselves toward their college goals.  Beginning in the fall 2015, students can take classes on the BGSU Firelands campus or by web-based instruction along with courses that may be offered at their respective high schools.

Students interested in the program must attend the meeting with a parent.

The meeting is offered for students who missed the College Credit Plus meetings held at their respective schools due to inclement weather.  The meeting is open to students from any school district or home-schooled students who are interested in learning more about the benefits and cautions of the program.
