All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten at BGSU Firelands College Theatre

HURON, OH – Beginning April 14, Firelands College Theatre continues its 43rd season with the presentation of Robert Fulghum’s All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten, as dramatized by Ernest Zulia.
Based on several of Fulghum’s best-selling books, Kindergarten takes a funny, insightful and heartwarming look at what is profound in everyday life. This tightly woven stage adaptation is an evening of theatrical storytelling that utilizes a revue format, with monologues, dialogues, multiple voice narrations, and several songs as well as musical underscoring. The many delightful stories feature colorful characters and thoughtful vignettes, which celebrate our very existence!
Frank Glann, associate professor of humanities at the college, is the director for the production and musical direction is by Jann Graham Glann
The ensemble cast of eleven performers include Jamie Brokaw, Katherine Gauthier, and Ronald M. Ruble of Huron; Dorian Evans, Christine Longer, and Jarod Mariani of Sandusky; Cody Noon of Milan; Cass Holt of Vermilion; Andrew J. Harrison of Port Clinton; Morgan Savage of Norwalk; and, Cassandra Warren of Marblehead.
The set design and technical direction is by Frank Glann and the shop foreman is David Gilmore, BGSU Firelands audio visual theater technician. Additional production staff includes Davy Davis of Sandusky as scenic artist & properties coordinator, Carolyn R. Griswold of Sandusky as costume coordinator, and Julie A. Hamann, BGSU Firelands director of technology support services, as box office manager.
Performances will be held at 8 p.m. on April 14, 15, and 16, and at 2:30 p.m. on April 17 in Bowling Green State University Firelands College’s McBride Auditorium.
The box office (419-433-5560, ext. 2-0747 or 419-372-0747) opens at 1 pm on April 11 and is open from 1-7 p.m. daily thereafter. Regular admissions are $9 for adults, $7 for senior citizens and BGSU Firelands employees, $5 for children and students, and $4 for BGSU Firelands students. Groups of 15 or more are $7 per person.
