I think the use of sounds will be important in your animation.

If you want to do this i suggest you have a pair of legs in the boots because the close camera shots might get boring. You will also need sound to let the audience know that he is being chased by the cops. Maybe your first shot is of a bank, the alarms go off and u see the door open, then cut to the legs running away or something.
