My view of literacy was pretty single-minded when I first entered this course. I believed literacy as more of a written idea: the ability to read, write, and comprehend. Throughout the course, I have learned that the concept of literacy is much more complicated, and can include literacy in technology, rhetoric, and even professional documentss. I feel that my understanding of literacy has improved and progressed because of taking this class.
