While writing essay 3 i found myself in trouble. I really didnt understand what the purpose of writing this essay was. I didnt understand what i was suppose to do for this essay so that led me to not pass. I didnt seek the help i should have because, well i wont lie i became lazy. I gave up because i didnt understand fully the concept. I used the right tools to write the paper, but my concept was wrong. Dawn gave me another chance to revise this paper gave me clues on what to do different so that i could pass. This time around i will focus on this paper and concentrate. Evaluate my topic and give the right concept. I will use what i have learned from my pass essays to pass the 3rd one. Now that i have another chance to re do this essay i will do my best and show that i have learned from my mistake. There come a time that you slack, but you must bounce out ofit and get your work done.

If i was a child in 2009 i would want all the barbie toys. From their houses and cars to the kids and accessories. Now with barbie you can have a whole family, job, friends, babies, pets, food and etc. I would want all of that. I would want my whole room to be decorated with all the barbie stuff.

Why would i chose this toy? well rite now barbie to me is the only cool toy still out. I like barbie and now that she has these other things that can come with her i would have so much fun with it all. I would make up little skits and everything. I would have little parties for all the dolls and the babies would have to go to school. Aw it would be so much fun

The toys today are wonderful for the kids now because they watch television and fall in love with these characters. Television is starting to become the reason for everything. Toys are more big, more colorful, and more electronic. As to where when i was  younger you had to move your own toy around and make it dance and sing. They have toys now that can grow their own hair and cars can drive almost forever with life time batteries.

These toys are popular because children dont have to do much to play with the toys. Just press and play.

This day and time kids dont know what good toys really are. They play with toys they watch on tv like dora the explorer and bob the builder. When i was a kid we had more game board games barbie dolls and race cars not these weak toys that are out now. Beanie babies are not to popular anymore. Like i said they really are for collecting and not play. Kids dont collect the pay and break so beanie babies would be out of their question.

If my favorite toy is still out it probably would be in a bigger form. When i collected them they were little and cute now they probably would be big and ugly so that little kids could play with them.

When i was a child i love to collect things. My grandmother helped me with habit i have. She would come home with these little beanie baby toys. I loved them because they were so cute and cuddly. They were all types of animals and remember i love animals. I had every beanie baby made after the first one i received. If they were at mcdonalds for they kids meals i collected all of them and when i was out at the stores with my grandmother and i seen one i got it. Still to this day i have all those beanie babies they are collectors items to me and i love them dearly.

These beanie babies were so cute to me i just couldnt stop collecting them. It became a habit and i loved them like they were my kids! I probably didnt stop collecting beanie babies until i was about 14 years old. I had a pet dog she was a Siberian Husky and guess what? Yes! i had the matching beanie baby.  There were all kids of beanie babies and i had to have them all!

As I’ve been writing my first two papers I have learn a lot and applied it to my writing. There were things I never seen or was taught about writing. It has been five main steps that has helped me with my writings such as: Rhetorical Knowledge, Critical Reading Thinking and Writing, Processes, Conventions, and Values/Exploration. With the help of Rhetorical Knowledge i have learned and applied argumentive writing. I can know argue my point across and get people to better understand my words. Also, organization with paragraphs. It helps to be organized no matter what either with your things or your writing. It helps the reader know where your going with every aspect of your paper. I learned the development of essays. That will include thesis,forecast, counteragrument, intro, and conclusion. Out of these five things i just learned about forecast. I knew what the concept was but i didnt kno that was the name of it. It helps the reader and guides them through your paper clearly.

Parents love their children til death do them apart and more. They strive to help, teach, take care of, and care for them no matter what. One thing is that your parents should not have to do everything for you. There will be a time when they should let you grow and gain responsibility. Responsibility is a value you must have to grow. As a child you must attend school, right? Your parents take you to school and pick you, but its your responsibility to go to school and learn. You chose to attend classes, learn, and listen not your parents. I feel its doesn’t matter your age, you still should hold some responsibility for your education. Even if its just to pick up your homework paper for kindergarten, you have to remember to do so. When I was younger my grandmother made sure I was all dressed and ready for first grade, but it was my responsibility to have my homework ready and in my bag. Yes, that was way back in elementary, but i still took some kind of responsibility for my education. Parents shouldn’t do it all because from that you won’t grow. You need to learn to have responsibility for your education no matter the age. Your education should be valuable to you. If you can make decisions then it shouldn’t be hard to take responsibility for your education. Learn to have responsibility without your parents being by your side every time. They are here for you and always will be but you must gain responsibility and grow.

Truth telling is a value that will set you free. Have you ever met someone who just lies for no reason all the time? I have. My mother is the prime example of a liar. Since I can remember she has lied to me about any and everything. When I was ten years old she promised me a hotel party, when I turned sixteen she promised me we will go to Cedar Point, and my senior year of high school she promised she would pay my senior dues. None of these got done and she came up with a lie to cover the other lies. I ask the questions, “why lie to your child?” and “what do you get out of lying to me.”

Growing up I never said anything about it to her, but it has made me a better person. She has helped me not to lie for no reason or at all. It’s pointless and can really affect people in all types of ways. When you lie you have to worry about who will find out, remember what you said, what will be your next lie, and how will people feel about you. No lies, No worries is my motto. Once the truth is out your problem is over. You are not trustworthy, loyal, respected, or faithful to yourself when you continue to lie to others.

Yes, I know everyone doesn’t tell the truth all the time, but that doesn’t make it right. There will be someone who will lie to you every day of your life. My point is don’t practice lying practice telling the truth. Once lying becomes your habit you’re stuck with it. You will start to see your life go downhill and it can be hard to pick it back up.

Truth telling will set you free, trust me! People will respect you, trust you, and you will feel better about yourself. Keep the phrase No lies, No worries in your mind to better yourself. Life is too short for us to keep up with lies when it’s much easier to tell the truth. So like me believe in truth telling.

My audience for this first paper was to those who can relate to my belief and also those who are guilty of the fact. The purpose of this was to get people to understand lying is not and life style or what your born with. Its something you decided to do. Dont practice lying because it will become an habit. Reading TIB essay from out the book gave me a great deal formy paper. They kept it simple but straight to the point My prewriting for this essay helped me a lot. It made it so much easier to write, focus, and get my thoughts together. Instead of my brain going in circles its stayed in one place.As time goes on and im into more essays I will develope more skills and my essays will be outstanding.

I believe in truth telling. It, to me, sets you free.As a child until now I have been lied to by my own parent and it never was a good feeeling. She lies to me all the time, so I never believe a word she says anymore. I hate to be lied to and I dont hang around people who continues to lie to me. Just tell the truth, is what I say, its easieer than lying. When you lie you have to keep lying and it gets harder every time. When you tell the truth it shows that you are trustworthy, loyal, honest, and faithful  to yourself. Life is too short to keep up with lies after lies when you could have told the truth. I’m a truth teller no matter what, because I have learned from my own parent that it doesn’t feel good to be lied to. I would not want anyone to fell the way I have because of a lie I told. Just tell the truth.
