There is a public debate today in BGSU. This debate is which building is the most important for students on campus. There is the math building, rec center, Moore music building and the list goes on. However, most people increasingly think that the Bowen Thompson Student Union is the best for students in BGSU. Personally speaking, the Student Union not only has comprehensive services, but also has a very flexible working experience for students. There are many things to do at the Student Union; such as eating here for breakfast, lunch and dinner or getting a cup of coffee. Students can sit here and chat with friends in their free time, and they can purchase some items like Apple products, PS4, books, clothes, etc. It also has the Lab area offering a place for students to study and do work assignments. For e part time jobs, the Student Union has many jobs offerings to students, because there are lots food stores here and they provide many opportunities for students.

The Student Union has some good services and rest areas for students. For example, Black Swamp Pub, Catering service, The Falcon’s Nest, Marco’s Pizza, Outtakes and Starbucks. People can have many choices for their dining options every day. In my opinion, the food in the Student Union is the most delicious at BGSU. People can eat Asian food, fried chicken, pizza and different kinds of salads here. Then students can sit the rest area to eat and have chats with friends, talk about anything we want, which is a way to make us relax after we finish the class or wait to attend class. For my personal situation, I have to wait two hours between my first and second class. Because of this, I would come to the Student Union, buy some foods and have a chat with classmates, which help me be relaxed and feel better for my next class.

The Student Union also has the most opportunities for jobs to apply for at BGSU. There are many different jobs, like cook, waiter, registrar, cashier and the list goes on. Students not only can get the work experience and payment, they also can study how to cook, make coffee and any other skills to live. This is an important point that explains why I believe the Student Union is doing all they can for the students. In the future, we will graduate and start to work and step in society, and those skills can help us feel comfortable and be higher qualified than other students.  Working in the university also has other benefits to international students, because people who are from another country can get a SSN, which is favorable to us, as it is very necessary if people want to apply for a credit card, driver license or something like that.  In addition, international students can increase their English skills from those working experience, and understand local people’s habitude.

Finally, due to the above-mentioned reasons, and even other advantages, this building can offer students many services and rest areas and give the opportunities for students to get part time jobs.  It is the most necessary building in BGSU, and it truly makes people feel comfortable.

There is a public consensus today about whether musicians, bands and people who love music are increasing their focus on pop music. In addition, Korean pop music entered the Asian market at the turn of the 21st century and rapidly controlled most of the teenagers and young adults of Asia. Nowadays, the K-pop culture wave covers America, India, and Europe. From the statistic information, Google Trends shows K-pop culture is a very hot commodity around the world and dominates the world music trend.
There is a band named Big Bang, who have dominated and influenced K-pop for more than ten years. As their name suggests, this band is famous all across the world, and have been responsible for many social and cultural influences. The group has five members, whose names are G-Dragon, Tae-Yang, TOP, Dae-Sung and Seung-Ri. This essay will focuse on their latest song, named ‘Bang, Bang, Bang.’
The first good point to talk about with ‘Bang, Bang, Bang’ is its high popularity in the world, and how it can change people’s attitude. Nowadays, the world is stuck in a mechanized life; people keep working for their salary and keep studying in order to find a good job. But to be honest, people need to have passion in their life. From the lyrics and music video, people can feel a different life style. It uses crazy dancing and singing to express how we should do something crazy when we are young, and it is also efficient to make people relax from their mechanized and boring lifestyle. The evidence that proves people really love this song is that this song was published on YouTube less than one year ago, but it already has 167,682,320 views and 97 percent positive reviews.
On the other hand, from the professional music aspect, this song is highly difficult and covered various music elements, like rap, R&B, electronic music, and the list will go on. Also, the structure, rhythm, and chords adapted peoples’ music style. For example, normal K-pop music’s structure will usually have 3 to 4 parts and it might be ABCAB or ABABCD. Also, the rhythm will be a simple one. However, ‘Bang, Bang, Bang’ is a totally different story, because there are five people in the group and each one has their own different character. Because of this, this song has more than 6 parts structures such as, ‘ABCDEFD’ and uses very quick rhythm to bring audiences a special experience. People can feel the enthusiasm and enjoy the whole song because this song has no repeats, meaning each part can give people a fresh feeling and different audio feast. That is the reason why this song got many views and why this band is the leader in modern K-pop music.
Finally, due to the above mentioned reasons, Big Bang uses this song to give audiences a different feeling, and they have the high-level music skills to make us relax from the pressures of life and to be more positive. We can feel comfortable to say ‘Bang, Bang, Bang’ is the leader of modern K-pop music.

In my country, China is one of the biggest country in the world, of course have lots of good views and different culture. If my American friends want to travel to china, then I will introduce the history, views, and culture about China to help him planning his travel plan.
First of all, if my friend who want to travel to China, then he will enter Beijing airport first. I will recommend this city ‘Beijing’ lets him to travel few days, because Beijing is the capital city in China and it also have more than one thousand beautiful place we can see and enjoy it. For example, there are Tian An Men, Imperial Palace and the Forbidden City locate the mid of Beijing, like the central park in New York, it was each ancient emperor’s palace which are very luxury. The Imperial Palace was designed to be the center of the ancient.

According this picture, that is the real Imperial Palace looks like, which is not only gorgeous and beautiful, and also we can study lots of culture and knowledge about Chinese history. There are more than 14 million tourists came here, that’s obviously expand the Chinese culture transfer and communicated.
Furthermore, I also will recommend my friend to see my hometown’s famous building which is Yellow Crane Tower. Yellow Crane Tower was built in 223AD and it has 1780 years old. It has 61.7 meters high and 3219 SQ. Km and is one of forth famous Building in China. In Chinese myth story, there was a Chinese god who lived in the Yellow Crane Tower and protected local people, and the yellow crane are his friends always fly around this building. That’s why it called Yellow Crane Tower.

There has a bridge between the Yellow Crane Tower is Wuhan ChangJiang Bridge which also has a story. That’s if you walk across the Wuhan ChangJiang Bridge with your boy or girlfriend, then you will happiness with your boy or girlfriend forever. This is lovely story is came from郭沫若 (Guo Mo ruo) who is most famous Chinese writer made fiction book.SO, If my friends travel to my country, Yellow Crane Tower and Wuhan ChangJiang Bridge obviously are the best place I will recommend. On the other hand, Because Wuhan is my hometown and it is located mid of China, which means there are lots of delicious foods I can give you if you love food. For example, hot noodle, Dou Pi and Hun Dun, which are all delicious Chinese food and I’m crazy about it.

Finally, due to above mention ideas, I will feel comfortable to suggest my friends first travel to the Imperial Palace then move to Wuhan and admire the Yellow Crane Tower and Wuhan ChangJiang Bridge and enjoy the local Chinese foods.

Nowadays, I have been study in BGSU 3 months and I made lots of good friends and see the fantastic professors. Also, a lots of challenge will come in, and I need to face it and overcome. In this 3 months, the biggest challenge I have overcame is the issue of car. Because when I study in here, I am the new one to touch this area, I am a guy who become from training have no idea about car to buy car and take care about all of the issue about my car and solve many problems. That’s is a great achievement for me.
Oct, 19th, That’s my 20 years birthday and I decided use my money which I saved in the bank plus my parents who give me the gifts to bought a car. However, what kind of car is most suit for me, which is problem confuse me a couple days. My friend Jeff suggested to perches a SUV, and my other friends wanted buy a small car because i’m a beginner and i need buy a car which made in German. it is more safety than other car like Japanese car. I agree with this idea and according those days thinking. I bought my dream car and solved my first problem about my car.

After i got my car, i was also scare about drive and i want to drive it. So i asked my friend Jeff and he teaches me how to drive, of course i did lots of practice when i finished my course and completed my homework i would drive to adapt this feeling and skills. In this time, Jeff was always with me and teaches me because it is not only teach me which was wrong and which need do better, and also i just got the permit in Ohio, Jeff need stay with me when i was driving. Fortunately, i got my driver license and pass the road test when he teaches me two weeks. And i could see lots of beautiful views in the road which i could not see by take a walk. i was become from a person who scare to drive to have courage to drive the car and feel so good. I think i was overcome my own challenge.

The biggest challenge for me is drive in the high way! As we all knew, driver who drive in the high way need focus high concentration and need to control the steering wheel very well. Because, when we drive in the high way we need keep our car in high speed and stable. That’s is easy for most of driver but not for me, because i was a beginner and i just passed my drive test one week when i drive in high way which went to Chicago with my friends Jeff and Qingchen. It was 4 hours driving times and i was rest one time when i feel tried. I was so scared when i felt tried in the high way, because it is very dangerous and there were three people in this car. That’s the reasons i drive in the rest stop and drink a cup of coffee lets me sober again and did not feel any tired, then we arrived to Chicago! And i overcame it.
, this is a pretty view i have been seeing in my driving time.

There is a public debate today about whether people who always talking with each other what destination we want to traveling when the vacation come. Some of people who stay point of view that we can go abroad take picture and shopping, and they claim that some goods and luxuries are stay different price in different area. Because of tax, currency transfer, and area define, like LV which is a luxuries brand is very popular to people. It is interesting that the same LV bag in France is cheaper than this bag in China. That’s why lots of people want to use their holiday go abroad and shopping. However, mainly, I disagree with this point of view, because it is not only cannot make me relax and also cannot study some local culture and behavior. Sometimes people would ignore most of beautiful view when they focus shopping and that’s also ignore what the real vacation destination is. In my point of view, I hold the second opinion which people should enjoy and study the local culture when we are vacation.
First of all, the advantage that is traveling other place to study and enjoy local culture and behavior is not only can boost our knowledge which we didn’t know before and it also make many friends with local people, study different language and feel different views. For example, my friend who named John Wang is a high school student and want to become a historian. He always traveling in his summer holiday and would study all of local culture and stories. In his opinion, making local friends and ask by face to face is better to study the history knowledge than the textbook and the internet. In fact, because of those friends’ help and his history presentation, he got the offer by King College in Cambridge University. Therefore, the experience of his traveling give him a big help and it is also important for us.
That statistic information also provide adequate justification for my point of view, A few days ago, it was Fall break, I was surfing the internet and searching some place can go purchase Iphone6 and shopping some goods which have a lots discount. However, I found an investigation in Chinese WangYi news website, which 69 percent people who believe it is waste time and life when people go shopping in their holiday, and those goods sometimes are actually not necessities for us and list will go on. Such reasons and statistics changed my opinion, then I option to travel in Chicago and East Lansing to took lots of beautiful pictures and visited the art institute of Chicago, Field museum of natural History and Museum of Science. That was such magnificent and I benefit a lot!
Of course, shopping in some vacation destination also are benefit some people and it is truth, shopping not only is the one of way to make people relax from the high stress working environment and people who buy some goods like necklace, ring, wallet something very luxury with high discount in their traveling. They also feel comfortable and very happy like the winner, but I was confuse that who is the loser and those mentality also make me confused.
To sum up, due to the above mentioned reasons, even some people like shopping, I still insist my point of view, and I might be comfortable to say that people who traveling different place can study the local culture and some new knowledge, which are more meaningful than just shopping.

Nowadays, it is already past a month when I first came to BGSU for study. I am not only make many friends which help me face that new environment, also I know almost ways to go Walmart, A-TT store, and anywhere in the campus. On the other hand, in the BGSU, there are lots of interesting and unusual building i found, if i need option the most of interesting building in the BGSU, that is must be MMAC- Moore Musical Art Center.

The first unusual feature in MMAC which is appearance, that building is a huge triangle which one side is full of clear glasses and other side is big grassland, which looks like a huge downhill. One of my friend who named Tony Northman was tried to play skateboard on side and it also like a big skating rink too, unfortunately, he was not good to control his skateboard and his right hand was hurt very serious.

The second point MMAC have gorgeous concert in side and piano, drum, harp and list will go on.  And sounds effect is absolutely perfect, that’s one of reason I think there is better than QinTai theatre which is the biggest theatre in my home city. So, I also believe that MMAC can make lots of successful opera something like that and the audience just likes the sunlight so much!

From the location, MMAC is located middle of the BGSU, which means all of students who live in the different dorm can easily to go here and enjoy the opera or have classes in side. Maybe also can prove how it is important and can be the symbol for our campus.

Due to above mentioned reasons, that’s why I think MMAC is the most interesting building in the BGSU and i want to share with each other.

I have a story about my mathematic class when i was a high school student, and this story also show us encouragement is one of the most  important element to help us study and grow up.

When I was 12 years old and I studied high school in my first year. I was in trouble about my mathematic class, which means some problems in math skill i cannot control completely and my math score always be lower than other classmates. i was really impassion and find a approach like shortcut to conquer this issue. In the same time, my math teacher not only didn’t give me some suggestions, but he also criticized me for my low score. I had hopeless and felt upset because I had no confidence to face this problem without teacher’s encouragement and proposal.

My parents noticed the condition of myself was not the positive       and tried to find the method to cope with this problem. The lucky thing is that I was transferred to other high school which named Wu Han NO.2high School. When I went to school at first day, and I was really fearful about new environment, new classmates and new teacher. Especially I’m really worry about my mathematic class. I was ridicule of my classmates when they knew my math was horrible. Fortunately, i joined in the nice group with my classmates who were really friendly and enthusiastic to help me study math skill and the teacher whose name is Chadetaishen LI was really patient to educated me even I made such an enormous mistakes in my math class and always said me ‘ you are really smart and you can do this!’ So, my math skill was boost efficiently with the help and inspiration of everybody. And I receive the confidence to handle this subject.

This is most experience and turning point in my life. My kind classmates and my teacher supported me to figure out one after another problems. I just want to say’ thank you so much to expression the feeling of gratitude.
