History of Commonwealth Judo

Following a meeting held at the 1983 World Championships in Seoul, South Korea, The Commonwealth Judo Association was formed. Mr. Owen Clarke (Scotland) was the first President and Mr. Harry O’Rourke (New Zealand) the first Chairman. Mr. O’Rourke then followed Owen and is the current President of the CJA.
