”’Round Top Island”’ is a 6.25 [[hectare|ha]] island in south-eastern [[Australia]]. Its highest point is 165 [[metre|m]] [[above mean sea level|asl]] It is part of the [[Maatsuyker Islands|Maatsuyker Island Group]], lying close to the southern end of the south-western coast of [[Tasmania]]. ==Fauna==
Recorded breeding [[seabird]] species are the [[Short-tailed Shearwater]] (8900 pairs), [[Fairy Prion]] (9300 pairs), [[Common Diving-Petrel]] (8700 pairs), [[Pacific Gull]] and [[Silver Gull]]. The [[Metallic Skink]] and [[Tasmanian Tree Skink]] are present.<ref name=Brothers2001/>
