Animated Atlas- American History Timeline is a timeline split into different categories to view the different types of events happening at the same time. Some of the categories included are society, states, presidents, women, Native American, and science.

PBS- Freedom, A History of the U.S. explores American History through the theme of Freedom. It includes interactive games, webisodes of the PBS series, and a this week in history section.

The Franklin Institute Educational Hotlist- American History and Government is a collection of topics in American History that gives the reader links to more information on their topic.

The History Place offers select topics by its creators . Not everything will be found on this site about American History, but the site includes links to related sites.

The History Channel site allows you to search by topic to find information. It includes interactive games, audio files of speeches, video clips, images, and summaries of a variety of topics.
