The Department of Communication seeks applicants for part-time adjunct teaching positions



The Department of Communication at Bowling Green State University (http://www.bgsu.edu/departments/comm/) seeks strong applicants for part-time teaching assignments for the 2015-16 academic year.  Potential teaching assignments at the undergraduate level are in the areas of interpersonal communication, rhetorical criticism, organizational communication, and political communication.  Starting date is August 2015 or January 2016. Candidates with a master’s degree in communication preferred but those with a graduate degree in a communication-related field will be considered. Evidence of successful teaching at the collegiate level is preferred.

Applicants should submit: 1) letter of application, 2) resume and 3) two current original letters of reference signed and includes; name, address and phone number.   Finalists will be required to submit official transcripts indicating highest degree.  Finalists are also required to authorize and pass a background investigation prior to an offer of employment.

Unless they request otherwise, qualified applicants will also be considered for future part-time employment opportunities that may arise.
