Dr Gajjala has been invited to participate as an invited panelist at the “Africa and IT” conference at Urbana-Champaign in September 2013. She will be on a panel (with Dr. Sharon Irish and Dr. Safiya Noble of UIUC) detailing the work she is doing as part of the “DOCC 2013” initiative led by Anne Balsamo and Alex Juhasz through “Femtechnet”. During her visit to UIUC, she will also be giving a talk at the Institute for Communications Research at UIUC.
