Looking Around

I think that the writer is trying to tell us that in your writing you need to engage people and make them think differently about the world. Sometimes we all are moving to quickly and we forget to look around and truely appriciate all that is around us. We need to be more like children and stop and be in awe of things again. I think in order to do this we need to slow down in our daily lives. In our writings I think that is a good place to address the things we usually are too busy to notice, bring to the readers attention the trees or something so next time they are out and about they take a second to be in awe of how beautiful things really are.

Rachel, good post! I like the connections you’ve made here, especially taking the time to notice the little things in life and to also bring in that close attention to our writing.
