Record Listening Club

The Music Library and Sound Recordings Archives is starting a Record Listening Club! This will be a series of events where we invite faculty and staff from across campus to select an album from the Sound Recordings Archives that’s significant to them either personally or as part of their research and lead a group discussion about it. We’ll be providing streaming access to the audio ahead of time so attendees can come prepared to share their responses.

Up first, we’ll be listening to 1957’s Here’s Little Richard with Sound Recordings Archivist Bill Schurk on Wednesday December 2 at 8p in the Arts Village. RSVP to lindys@bgsu.edu or sign up in the Arts Village for access to the streaming audio.

Hope to see you there and keep an eye out for details about future events!
