I have been developing online courses for more than 5 years and I really enjoy it. Computers and the internet have changed the way people are learning and I view online as a way to enhance our curriculum while reaching out to a new generation of students on their turf.
A few rules that I have noted is that often simple is better when it comes to online. Also, better organization and clearly defined outcomes will help students make the most of their course.
