Unit One
Personal Literacies:
Unit One explored the various personal literacies that we possess. The first assignment in this unit called for us to visually represent the different literacy acts that we perform. I chose to use PowerPoint to show–chronologically–the progression of my literacies and how they all come together. The second assignment, the literacy narrative, required us to look past the traditional definition of literacy and explain an unconventional literacy that we possess.
