This chapter is aptly titled determinism.  “that belief that the technical base of society is the fundamental condition affecting all patterns of social existence”.  I can agree with this inference but in a very fundamental aspect.  It does lay the framework of our generation but however, i would not like to think that it affects all patterns of social existence.  I would like to believe
