Today I have made myself ugly and my group and I will test the waters of the second life stigma of attractiveness.
This will be interesting since I have not come across an avatar in SL yet that has been unattractive by societies standards.
I am dancing with the same chick that Brent danced with so far I have not seen any changes in the behavior of these people.
So far I have not made any conversation with another avatar with my “ugly” character.
I assume that being an ugly character will turn some of these people off enough for them not to talk to me. Every Avatar I have come across has been fairly attractive.

Today my purpose was to find some resources to start our dating service. We are starting are business as a speed dating service. It should be pretty interesting since i am still considered unattractive by traditional standards. I found some furniture for our service. I also found some gun but however i could not figure out how to shoot these guns. I also found some decor, fountains, and trees to set the atmosphere of our dating service.

Today we figured out that our speed dating service is going to be held in a room smaller than a dorm room. We need to contact the owner because she is letting us use the space for research purposes. While waiting for her to get back to us i found a soccer stadium to play at. I still have not figured out how to kick the ball but it is very interesting that you can play soccer in the virtual world. I would be willing to bet that they hold virtual matches at these places.

Today i had a chance to explore second life at little more. We are still awaiting a place to hold our speed dating group and feel pretty confident we have all the resources that we need to start this organization. I got a chance to go to a laser tag place today. There was no one in the place and i believe it costs linden to play the game. This is definitely a great idea for entertainment in the second life. I was also able to go to a place where you could swim with the dolphins this is a novel idea even though swimming in second life can be a hastle.

Today i searched for more things related to our project. I went to a freebie store and found it increasingly hard to attach most of the things that they offered to your inventory. I was trying to contract a hot tub so we could offer that to the speed dating group. I happened to find some guns and decided to play with that idea for a while. It was easy to connect the fact that i could hold an ak 47 in my hand. This would eventually present me with many problems as you are not allowwed to hold guns and just any places.
