Wow, my first day of second-life was certainly an experience.  I got to close to somebodies virtual girlfriend and got shot with some type of bubble gun.  I had to admit to the person that i would not invade their space again for him to let me go.  Who said chivalry was dead.  I also explored around and found out you could virtually smoke a ciggarette which was quite interesting.  I also like the fact that the site added mannerisms like laughing which adds to the overrall believability to the virtual world.
