Prospective Students

MS/PhD positions are available in the lab of Dr. Kevin McCluney at Bowling Green State University.

Although applications for all related areas of research are encouraged, currently we are particularly seeking applications to work on a grant-funded project using phosphate isotopes to examine P cycling in agricultural soils.

Strong applicants will receive tuition waivers and stipends for 2-3 (for MS) or 4-6 (for PhD) years, guaranteed, through a combination of research and teaching assistantships.

Note, PhD students must have a mean score of ~60th percentile across the different sections of the GRE, MS students should have a mean score of ~30th percentile, and both should have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.

Interested students should emailĀ kmcclun@bgsu.edu with a cover letter and a CV (including GPA and GRE percentiles), before submitting an official application to the graduate college (due February 1st, 2021, but also accepted after that date). For more information about the application process, see: https://www.bgsu.edu/arts-and-sciences/biological-sciences/graduate-programs/prospective-students.html
