The meaning of “Mark”

The etymology of my name is dependent on its origin.  The Hebrew meaning of “Mark” is, polite and shining.  The Latin meaning of “Mark” is, warlike.  The name “Mark” is closely related to the roman god of war known as “Marcus”.  I would assume that this roman god influenced the meaning behind my name.  I […]
