Photographic Memory

This is another painting done by my friend Chloe. I like this piece simply because she took a normal photo, split it up into smaller photos, and then stuck it back together to create pieces of herself. It’s like a mosaic within a painting. It’s very unique and very awesome. I also love the colors she used here. I’m drawn to her eyes, which then makes me look towards the background color and then back down into the painting once more. The color compliments are absolutely amazing.
I love the confidence that Chloe exhibits when she paints herself. Most people would alter their appearance to be deemed more acceptable by society, but since I know Chloe personally, I can say that she has captured herself identically. Which can also be difficult due to the fact that we all see ourselves differently than the mirror sometimes does.

  3. Kelsey’s Art101 Blog ” does appear to be spot on with what your website is about but yet, I prefer to keep my title less content descriptive and based more around site branding. Would you think this is a good idea or bad idea? Any kind of help would be greatly valued.
