Summary: A toymaker tells the bizarre story of the Land of Oz, ruled by Prince Kynd, who is overthrown by Prime Minister Kruel. She, Uncle Henry, and two farmhands are swept to Oz by a tornado. Snowball, a black farmhand, soon joins them after a lightening bolt chases him into the sky. They land in Oz, where they try to avoid capture by disguising themselves as a scarecrow, Tin Woodman, and a lion.
