You should always take caution in the words that you choose as not to offend anyone in any way.

You should also have a strong thesis that does not include personal feeling and accepted facts. Also, your thesis should give the topic, cause, and one solution.

You have to use supporting facts and reason to support you argument and solution.

You should try to see more than just your opinion. A good argument sees more than one point of view.

You can either fram or reframe a topic to help your reader focus on the part of the topic that you find importan.

You should try to make your argument easy to read and follow for your reader.

Another important aspect is gaining the reader trust and being credible. To do this you much carefully and correctly cite all of the resources you used in your arguments.
