Freebie Store…

Posted in Uncategorized on June 17th, 2009 by kdrobin

The freebie store that is built is nice and is in an open public space. However the space is to cluttered and small. The project was to team up with classmates and design a new freebie store. Breaking into two teams we have two different, but amazing approaches towards this project. One is classical and is modern. The teams are take major steps into completing the project in order to meet the deadline……….

Posted in Uncategorized on June 11th, 2009 by kdrobin

Yea the new pace is looking great. Today from the help of classmates we tighten up the work space I was working on in the Beach area. It took us a few minutes once one told them how and what I was going for. and everyone seemed to understand and linked into the same mind set because we all fixed that space up and it looks better than ever. Take a look before and after.  …….

Hello World..

Yea I was looking around today at my classmates office space and they are really great. You can tell that every person in the class has their own special taste towards designing. Some are simple and gets to the point while others are busy and exciting. I liked how the design they had really made the space we had to work with look bigger than it really were. Most of the spaces was not tight and small they all have things in places where you can understand why their position there.

All I want to say is Great Job… You Guys Deserve it..

Hello World,

Yea I finish adding texture to my Secretary desk and chair. Yea I wanted to use the read and glass table to give it an focal point once you enter the lower level space. the reason I did that is because I wanted to show how important the secretary is in the work environment.. special-chair_002

Update…

Posted in Uncategorized on June 11th, 2009 by kdrobin

Hello World,

The update about the class setting………

I think this is pretty cool the meeting time is great and the things that we do in class is great. if you never took this class or any class in the second life this is one of the best in my point of view. The setting helps to grab your attention by having a lot of features that one can do..

Thinking is something you still have to do you really can’t just go in and do something.. Everything has have a reason why its placed in that specific spot. This helps you to understand what fits and what don’t.

I cant wait to see whats next…

Tha Great.. Peace

The Final…..

Posted in Uncategorized on June 11th, 2009 by kdrobin

Hello World,

I finally finished the final idea that had for my office space. the mixture of texture that I have used really help complement one another by the color and material. the wood and steel tan and black help bring things out in the design. the tinted glass windows help show how public the lower level is but at the same time it is a private space due to the meeting room. The old design has slowly transformed to a great design. this design of the office really look as if it is a corporate area. snapshotgroup_006special-chair_007

Change in affect!!

Posted in Uncategorized on June 11th, 2009 by kdrobin

office-space1_007Yea the design was not a successful idea. Everything was not going as planed so I scraped that design and created office-space1_003office-space1_001something much more suitable for a high profile client.

I first started with the ground floor where I have the meeting area and the sectary spacer located at. one parallel from one another. The separation is divided by the glass door way and wall.  when someone enters you have some excellent chair design for one to relax and wait to be called on.

The personal office space is design with a lot of space to give the space a free flowing not over crowed tight area. By opening up the space almost the width of the giving space help distant the private louge area from the work desk area.

First Idea

Posted in Uncategorized on June 11th, 2009 by kdrobin

The first Idea I had for my office space was to have multiple floors and on the first floor have an art room.

The second floor was suppose to be the meeting and secretary space, more so the publ;ic space where everyone would come and socialize.

The final floor would be consider my private space contaning my personal office space with a small private meeting lounge area.

The social area on the second floor I wanted it to be surrounded with more windows and less walls. Also it couldsnapshotgroup_0051 bring more light into the space and bring a positive flow to it, not the private office space i wanted to have one important glass wall and make it seem as if Im over looking ecverything in which is going on in the office. The space would empower one whi is in the space.
