The BGSU International Studies Program is currently seeking a public relations intern for Spring semester 2012. The intern would work closely with both the Director and Secretary of the Program. Intern responsibilities include updating and maintaining the Program’s Facebook and blog and growing their social media presence; contacting and building alumni connections; creating monthly alumni newsletter; planning, promoting and executing Program events, including those of the related student organization, International Studies Network. Interns will gain valuable experience in social media, event planning and publicizing, plus have the flexibility to create, plan and execute their own projects or campaigns under supervision.
The internship can be used as course credit, and to fulfill the on-campus internship requirement for Journalism and Public Relations majors. The internship is unpaid and would range from 6-10 hours per week.
