The Jon R. Tuttle Journalism and Production Minority Internship
– The intern will participate in a number of forms of journalism (audio, text, video, photo, blogs, social networking, dynamic syndication, mobile applications, etc.) and/or production. In addition to a television and radio station, OPB has extensive Web content and a specialty environmental site. Students will be given opportunities to interact with senior management and a wide array of professionals in their field of study.
Eligibility:
– The applicant must be at least a junior / recent graduate and have racial and/or ethnic origins as defined by the EEOC (American Indian or Alaskan Native, Asian, Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander).
Stipend:
– Internship stipend is $5,000
Timeline
– Application materials must be postmarked no later than March 1. Internship timeline is June 1-September 1; timeline may vary, depending on intern’s academic calendar.
