Requirements:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Candidate must be capable of juggling multiple tasks.
- Supervise reporters, photographers, and producers on a daily basis.
- Lead breaking news coverage and create work schedules.
- Develope and execute election coverage and any special projects.
- Ideal candidate is a manager who has a proven record of mentoring, leading, and inspiring employees.
- Fill in line-producing on an as needed basis.
Requirements & Skills
- College Degreee preferrred
- Minimum 3 years line-producing experience preferred
- Digital & social media experience is required
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
The Executive Producer must be able to sit, conduct telephone conversations, use electronic mail, write letters and memos, conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups, make decisions without supervision, make decisions that impact the results of co-workers, work near others, and work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions. In addition, the Executive Producer must be able to handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls. Repetitive movements are required. Work may be conducted in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions. |
