WhatsUpDetroit.com is currently looking for Interns in the areas of social media, journalism, creative writing, Web design, graphic design, sales and editorial.
Internships run from approximately three or four months and are unpaid.
Interns must have experience and/or are currently enrolled in college courses. Interns must be able to switch gears on a moment’s notice, handle multiple projects, be willing to assist when needed in other departments at the magazine, and be courteous, respectful and helpful to all members of the team.
Areas of responsibilities for interns include (but are not limited to): assisting on photo shoots, designing pages for the website, writing blogs for the website, writing stories for the website, following WhatsUpDetroit.com’s social media schedule, assisting at official WhatsUpDetroit.com events and more.
