Living Green Magazine is seeking Journalism Interns for the Fall semester. Your internship will be done remotely, using email and conference calls to discuss assignments.
Assignments and Tasks:
- Write original articles on topics approved by the Editor, with your own byline. This includes articles oriented toward a college-age audience, “X Best” lists, interviews with green thought leaders and activists, resource guides, “how to” tips, etc.
- Conduct web research to find appropriate infographics and articles to repost on the site.
- Conduct other research assignments as they develop.
- Provide social media assistance on Facebook and Twitter—and on our social media site MyGreenFace.com—to increase awareness about our sites.
Qualifications:
- Interest in environmental issues such as climate change, clean energy, wildlife protection, environmental justice, etc.
- Good writing and research skills.
- Ability to write clearly and succinctly, and to follow instructions.
- Time to complete your internship time of 100+ hours.

Living Green Magazine published a print edition for 2 years and has been solely online for 4 years. Our content includes original articles by our editorial staff, contributions from national environmental organizations, articles submitted by a variety of independent bloggers and individuals, and reposts of relevant articles from leading environmental sites.
