Personal Literacy
“Unit 1 will focus on your personal literacies. For this unit you will create two projects. First, you will create a visual literacy narrative. After completing this assignment, you will write a literacy narrative that elaborates on a specific aspect from your visual literacy narrative. Together, these two assignments, along with classroom discussions and readings, will ask you to understand the role that literacy plays in your everyday life.”
