What I was trying to achieve in my original image (top)  is to show how many “simple lines” there are in this quiet lounge of Centennial. With no people in this image, I hope the audience can focus on the importance of organization that surrounds us everywhere that we’ve created with straight lines. The bottom image is the same image, but I turned it into black and white then played with the some visual effects to show some contrast to reveal the linear motif of the image better. As you can tell, there are plenty of horizontal lines, vertical lines, and diagonal lines. The horizontal lines are present on the top and bottom of the windows, the top and bottom of the lights, the ceiling tiles, and on the top and bottom of the table tops. The vertical lines are present on the left and right of the windows. The diagonal lines are present on the ceiling, the sunlight casted on the floor through the windows, and on the left and right of the table tops.
