The Gamma Upsilon Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta held their induction ceremony as part of the Excellence in History at BGSU celebration on Friday, May 2 in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union.

Part of the induction included recognition of the contribution of the officers for the 2013-2014 school year. They were: President Joe Faykosh, Vice President Rachel Pawlowicz, Treasurer Alex Sycher, Secretary Josh Steedman, Public Relations Lisa Lamson, and Archivist/Historian Michael Ginnetti. The group is advised by Dr. Beth Griech-Polelle.

The Gamma Upsilon chapter of Phi Alpha Theta is the history honorary at BGSU. While membership is determined based on interest in history and GPA requirements, the chapter plans a variety of events related to history throughout the entire school year.
