Why I am here
I signed up for this session because I am interested in cross-cultural communication as a foreign language educator and as an individual who sometimes travels or lives in another country. My long term interests include learning more about and experimenting with adaptations to ‘traditional’ learning tools to meet the needs of learners with varying learning preferences and physical/learning abilities. I also want to be ‘connected’ to the technologies that are familiar to the students with whom I work (both at the university and the k-12 settings).
