The policy at BGSU dorms of the mandatory check in of students after midnight is unnecessary due to the fact of students being adults, it is not effective, and is inconvenient for the staff.

I believe this is true as well, i encountered the same problem. I was in the phone untill 11:58 last night and still had to go in through the front even though it was not midnight yet

I agree that log in after 12 is a bad policy to have its time consuming. I also agree that we should be old enough to be responsible for ourselves.

i agree, i feel that giving them more freedom will show they how to take responsibility and mature. They have had someone watching over them their whole lives, this is there time to be free.

As adults I feel that we should have to be responsible for ourselves and not have to check in.
