Two K’s just don’t work-Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries file for divorce

Filed under: Uncategorized — Meghan Coburn at 10:36 pm on Monday, October 31, 2011

Just 72 days after the nationally aired fairytale wedding, business woman Kim Kardashian files for divorce from New Jersey Nets player Kris Humphries according to Access Hollywood.

“After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage,” Kim said in a statement released to Access Hollywood on Monday.

Kardashian is asking that Humphries is to pay his own lawyer fees and she will do the same. She has requested that the court will oppose any requests from her ex for spousal support.

“I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce,” said Humphries. “I’m committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make it work.”

A personal statement from Kardashian to her fans is posted on her Twitter account.  They both are dealing well with the situation and wish nothing but the best for each other.

Your lead really caught my eye and was well-written. Try to make your post longer and remember there shouldn’t be any periods in your headline.

This post was a must-have! Good attribution in your lead. However, use past tense, not present tense.

    businesswoman is one word.

should be comma after Humphries: Just 72 days after the nationally aired fairytale wedding, business woman Kim Kardashian files for divorce from New Jersey Nets player Kris Humphries according to Access Hollywood.

EVERY instance of a quote needs to be separately attributed.

Do not use opinion, as in “both are dealing well.” How do you know?
