About Me
My full name is Emily Ann Clingerman. I was born and raised in the city of Miamisburg, Ohio; it is about 15 minutes south of Dayton. In my free time I enjoy, like everyone else my age, spending time with friends, having fun, watching movies and reading books. But I also love baking and decorating cakes and cupcakes. As for some of my background information, I am from a family of six; I have three siblings, an older brother and sister, and a younger sister. For schooling, I attended a private, Catholic grade school from kindergarten to eighth grade. Then I went on to attend the local, public high school, where I was involved in sports and clubs, such as student government. I participated on the track and field team, the women’s soccer team and the women’s golf team throughout school. When it came time to decide upon colleges, I did not know where I wanted to attend. I always thought I would major in Communication so one day on the internet I typed ‘Top 10 Communication schools’ into the search engine. I clicked on the first site and Bowling Green State University was the only school in Ohio that was listed, so I decided to apply. I chose last minute to attend BG and overall I am happy with my decision. But, ironically, I have not yet declared a major; I cannot decide whether I should do Communication or Journalism, Public Relations. As for now, I am enjoying the college life and trying to figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life.
